Hot pavement, ugly weather, dog slobber… even just daily wear and tear. Shoes sometimes suffer through a lot, and many of these hardships are unpredictable and unavoidable. But what if you actually possessed the ability to make your shoes last longer? Imagine being able to safeguard them, protect them, and care for them properly, thus extending life expectancy well beyond the years of an ordinary shoe. Look no further… Shoe Angels are here to answer your prayers.
The revolutionary idea of Shoe Angels was inspired by real women searching for effective answers. Debbie Klatt is a real-estate agent who would frequently drive to appointments, only to find that when she arrived to meet with clients, her shoes had somehow become unkempt and unprofessional just by driving! It was apparent that the back-portion and heel of her shoe would become damaged and scuffed simply by using the gas and brake pedals so frequently. With all the driving she was doing, it was becoming a real problem. So on one particular evening when she was in the company of her good friend Gia Yee-Lozicki, she again brought up her frustrations and dumped a basket of ruined shoes on the floor to prove her point. Gia examined the shoes, and in fact, each pair had scuffs and scrapes, all from driving! So together they decided they weren’t going to sit back and watch shoes become needlessly ruined any longer.
To start, Debbie and Gia began researching to find an existing product that would solve their problem, but it was to no avail. There just wasn’t anything on the market that would protect women’s shoes as much as they should be from daily driving and regular wear. So with Debbie’s business expertise and Gia’s creative talents, a partnership was made and the idea of Shoe Angels was born.
The next year was spent researching, testing, developing, and inventing a product that would ultimately protect shoes throughout frequent travel. Designed with the busy woman in mind, Shoe Angels had to be easy to use and economical, yet also respect the aesthetic appeal of the shoe. Debbie and Gia experimented with a variety of materials and drafts before finalizing the perfect combination of the two, aiming for maximum durability. But also important was the visual appeal of the design – it had to be fun and elegant. And after all was said and done, the result was something Debbie and Gia are very proud to share with other busy women who are looking for a solution.
Shoe Angels are ultimately ideal for all shoe colors, styles, and sizes, making them the perfect way to prolong a shoe’s lifespan.
